FAQs
What is concierge project management?
A construction project manager oversees a building project from start to finish. They keep the project on schedule, on budget, safe, and ensure quality standards are met. Our concierge service separates us from the norm. We manage the architect, builder, and subcontractors on your behalf. We make decisions, solve problems, manage your budget, and act as your advocate through the entire construction process.
What is an owner’s rep?
A construction professional who, in addition to being an experienced project manager, is your personal representative and advocate on and off the job site. A typical project manager cares about the building, but an owner’s rep cares about your building. The rep attends meetings, monitors the job site in person, conducts routine progress checks and prepares frequent quality control reports. They remove all the stress and worry of a typical construction project.
When should I use your services?
Our services are tailored for residential projects over $1,500,000 and commercial projects over $5,000,000. During pre-construction we help you locate a suitable lot, find a qualified architect and hire competent contractors. If you have already done those things and site work has begun, don’t worry! We can make an impact at any phase of construction and save you money, time and headaches.
What value will you bring to my project?
That all depends on what you value most. Is it time? We meet with the architect, builder, subcontractors and vendors, allowing you to focus on your family and career. Do you value cost savings? We monitor all project expenses from start to finish. Are you extremely particular with your design? We ensure every detail is executed to perfection.
More FAQs
Will you save me money?
That is certainly our goal, and the earlier we are incorporated into your project, the better. There are numerous opportunities to reduce costs during the design and planning phases. This becomes more difficult once construction begins, but controlling cash-flow and maintaining contingencies are a core part of our financial management process.
My builder assigned me a Project Manager. Why do I need you?
The project manager from your builder (or General Contractor) is working for his or her company – not you. Their job is to build your property as economically as possible in the least amount of time. We are different. We represent your interests, and yours alone. We are your advocate; we monitor and direct the progress of your build and ensure it meets your standards at all phases of construction.
Where are you located?
We are based in Winter Park, Florida, and primarily serve Central and South Florida. However, we are fully client focused and will provide our services outside of these areas to meet your needs.
What are my next steps?
Email, call, or send us a message. Construction is often stressful, complicated, and confusing, but we handle those details. Your dream property is closer than you think.
